Updating Trip Authorization and Shopping Controls


Certify Travel allows an organization to set approval rules for reservations and bookings.

This article shows you, a TMC Administrator, how to update trip authorization rules and shopping controls. 

Step 1: From the Admin menu, select Trip Authorization and Trip Authorization Policy.


Step 2: Select Edit next to the Trip Authorization Policy.

Please Note: If you need to change the policy to now require approval or always assumed approved, please contact the company administrator. 


Step 3: Make your required changes within the Itinerary, Air, Hotel, and/or Rail sections.

Please Note: The Policy Control at Availability enables you to warn or prohibit the traveler during shopping.  To set a requirement to Warn or Prohibit, the policy must be set to Conditional Approval.


Step 4: Click Save to save the authorization changes.
