New Queue Type for Purchased NDC Option
We have enabled the ability to route all NDC-sourced bookings to a separate queue specifically for NDC itineraries.
With this update, administrators can now designate a booking queue as the “NDC Queue” type within the platform. Once specified, any booking containing NDC flight segments that get purchased will automatically be directed to the designated NDC queue for post-ticketing processing.
This new streamlined routing allows for more efficient handling of NDC bookings, aligning staff workflows with the unique service needs of this emerging booking channel. Teams can now provide specialized support for NDC-related inquiries.
Administrators can set up this new NDC-specific queue type by following the standard queue configuration workflow within the platform.
Enhanced Reporting for Auxiliary Purchase Queues
As a reminder, earlier this year, we introduced two new queue types to organize bookings with auxiliary purchases better:
- OptionalServicePurchasedBeforeTicketing
- OptionalServicePurchasedAfterTicketing
The above custom queues allow for the handling of itineraries that have optional services.
We are pleased to announce that these two queue types have now been incorporated into the Administrative > Queue Settings report.
UI Updates - Admin Screen Improvements
This release focuses on upgrading the Admin Edit Policy page for more intuitive usage and visual appeal. The main improvements include:
• Added collapsible sections to reduce scrolling and enable faster access to pertinent policy details
• Replaced "Edit" labels with streamlined icon buttons to conserve space and enable a sleeker policy overview
• Added "Detach All" checkbox option for bulk detaching in one click
• Updated various style elements, including corners, margins, and alignment principles, to increase cohesion across admin pages and align with our product visual standards
Collectively, these changes to the Admin Edit Policy page aim to create a more user-friendly workflow for administrator users. We polished navigation and layout aspects to increase efficiency while preserving robust policy customization capabilities. Please provide any feedback on the updated experience.
Email Travelers on View Users Option in Active Policy Tree
We have introduced a new “Contact Users” feature that enables administrators to email travelers from the Active Policy tree view directly. This provides a simplified way to push important policy updates, reminders, or other notifications without leaving the platform.
The email functionality is accessible by navigating to Administration > Policy Tree >Active Policy, clicking “View Users” on the desired policy branch, then using the new “Contact Users”.
Click View Users on the Policy branch you would like to message.
Click on the new Contact Users link.
Compose a subject line and email body as needed before sending.
New Passive Rail Segment (Sabre Only)
We have introduced an additional structured format for passive rail segments to enable improved accuracy and readability.
Admins can enable and configure this supplemental format by navigating to Super Switch Settings > Rail Suppliers in the platform.
